About Tammy

Australian-born author, Tammy has spent the majority of the last two decades volunteering and working in Timor-Leste, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu. She’s been a writer, capacity developer, trainer, and program manager. She’s also worked with the UN, Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations, Australian police, and the US Peace Corps. Her books centre on remarkable courage against extraordinary odds. All proceeds of her debut biography, 'Scorched Earth', are returned to Timor-Leste.
